Parks

"Parks in Ballyfermot are very clean. A lot of children play in the playground. The park provides goal posts for people to play football, slides and other activities for the kids. It has benches for people to sit while watching their people play. The park ranger walks around to see if the park is clean or not.Old people walk their dogs in the park as a way of getting out.

The park is a good place for looking at flowers and trees as there are lots of different types. A lot of people use the parks to go jogging and this will keep them fit and it's a safe place to meet people. My family goes to the park every Summer and we have picnics and play games. It is such an interesting place".

The Phoenix Park
"The Phoenix Park is the 2nd largest park in the world.

The President lives in a house there.

The polo ground is in the park.

There is horse racing in the park.

There are lovely bright flowers in the park.

A lot of people go to the park and feed the ducks.

The Papal Cross and the Welling Memorial are situated in the park".
