Houses
There are different kinds of houses in Darlaston such as:
Flats, Bungalows, and Semi-detached, Detached, and Terraced houses.
Flats are often high-rise buildings that many people live
in. They are tall long buildings with windows in a row. In some flats people
have balconies outside their windows.

Semi-detached houses are two houses joined together. They are quite big and wide. Most of the people in Darlaston have Semi-detached houses.

Detached
A Bungalow is a single house on it’s own. It is small and wide but does not have an upstairs section. There isn’t that many people living in bungalows in Darlaston.

Terraced
Terraced houses are lots of houses stuck together. They are tall and thin and very squashed up.

In Darlaston there are some very large stores such as Ikea
and Carland.
