Funeral Directors

There are a few Funeral Directors. There is Roy Quinton, A. Walsh, and the Co-op.  The most popular is A. Walsh’s.  It used to be a little place on the Pinfold then it moved to a big place on Park Road.  When they moved some kids burnt down the old place and smashed the windows.  Stonemasons have to carve the stones, polish, and sand blast letters and designs and other things.  There are different designs for the graves. Around the graves you can have kerb sets.  They get the marble they use for the graves from Carrara in Italy.  Marble memorials shouldn’t be placed by a tree because the sap off the trees can stain the marble.
