What We Believe

There are lots of Churches in the Bloxwich Area. This is some information on two of the Churches we have visited:-

Christ Church, Blakenall Heath

The church cost £5000 to build and was completed and in In Blakenall Heath a church was built, named Christ Church. It cost £5000 to build and was in use by 1870.  J.E.Bealey of Bloxwich built it out of limestone with Bath Stone dressings in an early English style. The tower has got five bells that were a gift from Mr. Bealey. The vicarage was built during the 1870’s, and was rebuilt on the same site in 1968. Originally they started to build the church in Bloxwich Road in 1865, but in the same year they moved the foundations to a new site in Blakenall.

All Saints Church, Bloxwich

All Saints Church is on the High Street in Bloxwich Town Centre. It used to be called St Thomas of Canterbury but it was re-named after the church was rebuilt in 1874.

The actual chapel has been there since the 15th century.
