The Bull’s Head is a pub that is dated from Tudor Times, and there is a story that tells how a woman wished it would fall down because her husband was always in it. One day as she was walking past a tree outside the pub, the roof collapsed, then the tree was known as ‘The Wishing Tree’.

I have actually been in The Bulls Head with my Uncle, Nan, Auntie and cousin and it still looked quite old. Things such as the fireplace were very old-fashioned, it had some sort of beams on it and there were some old horse brasses hanging here and there.
