This is one of the many old buildings in Bloxwich. It is called All Saints Church. It is one of the main attractions and it is also used regular for Weddings,Funerals ,Christenings and many more things. This building is built in a large area of grass. This is not the only Church in Bloxwich there are many more. |

The police station has been knocked down it will be rebuilt. The police station was built on the old workhouse. It will be bigger and better than the old one. |

On the grounds that the ASDA store stands now is where the Bloxwich wakes were always held. The famous Pat Collins was a local man and his fair was always in attendance at the wakes. Pat Collins is buried in Bloxwich Cemetery. The now Bloxwich Hospital was known as the Bloxwich maternity home Were lots of locals of today were born. The Electric Palace used to be the old picture house known locally as the Odeon. Just past the Odeon going towards Bloxwich Centre on the right hand side was the local co-op shop and also Bloxwich milk bar and café where people used to gather for a friendly chat. The buses used to be trolley buses and very often the poles would come off the lines and the bus conductor would fetch the pole hook from underneath the bus and reset the poles back on the lines. The conductor would have to change the poles to different lines for different routes. The no:49 bus went from Bloxwich via Lichfield Road Abbots Street, Blakenall Church Wye road Goscote Lane Harden Coalpool butts then Walsall. The houses by Fastcar used to be the old garages and also the flats and houses used to be a big hole which was the pond.
