Helping Each Other

There are lots of ways that people in Bloxwich help each other, usually through an organisation or local group. At many of the schools in Bloxwich there are special events for the elderly residents - like visiting the school for a christmas meal or pupils visiting to perform carols or plays.
Some groups like the Scouts or Brownies often try to help others by having a jumble sale or doing sponsored events to raise money for charities or national collections like the Blue Peter Appeal (which is on a BBc Children's television programme).
Children should try to help each other when there is bullying at school and things like that. Friends always help each other with things like homework or helping them choose new clothes or make-up.
Sometimes the school has a non-uniform day where pupils pay 50p or £1 to come to school in normal clothes rather than the usual school uniform. Often this money goes to things like Comic Relief, which helps third world countries or Children In Need, which helps children in the UK.
There is a saying in Britain "charity begins at home" and lots of people should remember this and try to help more at home or at school.
